Shot in one continuous take, Detour was an experimental music video featuring a seamless blending between multiple speed changes. Driven by the original music of Dan Belleville, a Detroit area musician and film composer, Detour was a short project developed upon the tone and pacing of the musical section “Vitamin C”. Jumping off from a unique confrontation of relational drama and driven by a strong leading performance, Detour earned a top 15 selection in the 2010 National Film Challenge.
